Delete my data — Homii

Homii stores almost all of your personal data on your device. The fastest and most complete way to delete it is from inside the app. If you have linked a Google or Facebook account, server-side records also exist for your Hearts balance and subscription — the in-app account-deletion flow handles those too. This page explains every option.

Option 1 — In-app data wipe (device only)

Wipes chat history, memory, mood journal, custom characters, and settings stored on this device.

  1. Open Homii
  2. Tap the Settings icon (top-right user menu)
  3. Scroll to Privacy
  4. Tap Delete all data
  5. Type XÓA (or DELETE) to confirm
  6. The app wipes local storage and restarts into onboarding

✓ Removes every piece of personal data Homii stored on your device.

⚠ If you have a linked Google/Facebook account, server-side records (Hearts balance, subscription, account email) are not removed by this option — use Option 2 below.

Option 2 — Delete linked account (in-app)

Use this if you have signed in with Google or Facebook and want to permanently delete your server-side account record.

  1. Open Homii → Settings
  2. Scroll to Account
  3. Tap Delete account
  4. Confirm. We send a confirmation email to your linked address.
  5. Click the link in the email within 48 hours.
  6. Your account record is permanently deleted after the confirmation. There is a 48-hour grace period during which you can cancel the deletion via Settings → Account → Cancel deletion.

✓ Removes your account UID, linked email, OAuth provider link, full Hearts ledger, and any server-side metadata associated with the account.

⚠ Subscription billing records held by Google Play and RevenueCat remain for legal/tax compliance — we cannot delete them.

Option 3 — Uninstall the app

Uninstalling Homii removes the app’s private storage. On Android:

  1. Go to your phone’s Settings → Apps → Homii
  2. Tap Uninstall, then Clear data if offered

✓ Android removes the app’s private storage, including chat history, memory, and diagnostic logs.

⚠ If you had a Google/Facebook account linked, server-side records survive. Use Option 2 first if you also want to delete those.

Option 4 — Email request (fallback)

If you can’t access the app (lost phone, no longer have the linked account, accessibility reason), email us with the word “Delete” in the subject:

Cancelling your subscription (separate from data deletion)

Deleting your data does not automatically cancel your Companion+ or Companion+ Premium subscription. To cancel, go to Google Play → Subscriptions, select Homii, and tap Cancel subscription. Paid access remains until the end of your current billing period.

Hearts (in-app currency)

Hearts already spent on AI features (chat, voice, image generation) are not refundable. Hearts not yet spent are tied to your account and will be deleted along with the account record (Option 2 or Option 4). Deleting your data does not entitle you to a refund of pack purchases under Google Play’s policy on consumable in-app purchases.
